See little girl's joy as she learns she's being adopted

An 11-year-old girl's reaction to learning she would be adopted is touching hearts everywhere after video of the moment went viral.

Fisher and her husband will adopt Tannah after being her foster parents for two years.

"My heart was so happy, it was like, 'Ahhh!' It was screaming". When Alexander broke the long-awaited news, Tannah leaped into her arms in joy, hugging her and not letting her go.

"[Tannah's mom] knew she would want to know right away because she had been so anxious", Alexander wrote on Instagram.

The office manager - whom Tannah considers a close friend - shared the security camera footage of the moment, and the story behind it, with her social media followers. To tell a little girl she gets her family forever takes the cake.

"She just kept holding me tight, she kept holding me tighter and tighter", Ms Alexander added.

Jackie Alexander said the moment made her day.

There are more than 100,000 children living in foster care, just hoping for loving, forever families. "I just kissed her up one side and down the other side". "In 12 years at this job, this is by far my best moment ever!" she writes. "I just thought oh my gosh we did the right thing". "In a world full of sadness and disaster, so wonderful to see this truly lovely and joyous moment", wrote another.

Tannah stops by Alexander's desk every day for a short visit, so Tannah's soon-to-be parents Jen and Jeff Fisher called Alexander and asked her to share the news with the sixth-grader at the American Heritage school in South Jordan.

It is the attractive moment being shared around the world.

"This is pure testament that in a world full of turmoil and strife, there is still light and joy to be found in little everyday moments", she said.

"It's the biggest thing that's ever happened to me", the 11-year-old said.

"I just grabbed her and I just said 'Honey, oh baby have you heard the news?' And she said 'What?' And I said 'You get your family".
