Lenovo's ThinkCentre M90n-1 Nano Is A Diminutive Powerhouse Desktop PC

The foldable will be part of the company's popular ThinkPad X1 family when it arrives on the market next year, offering buyers a device with a flexible display that can function as their primary PC.

As a device that'll sport the ThinkPad X1 branding, Lenovo envisions the foldable device being used mostly by working professionals.

However, Gizmodo's hands-on with Lenovo's device demonstrated it displaying the Windows desktop of a PC rather than the app library of a tablet.

"The new wave of young business leaders expects their workplace devices to do more but with a minimalist look", Lenovo senior vice president Eric Yu says.

And when you consider that the foldable ThinkPad will nearly certainly be incredibly pricey - just like any foldable device this early on - it makes you wonder who would choose this over a traditional notebook.

But is a foldable PC really necessary?

Here you can see how the screen folds in half like a book for display two "pages" of content. It features a foldable 13.3” OLED display and runs Android.

After lunch, set up the stand and use its mechanical keyboard to type out a few work emails. It is a natural extension of Lenovo's previous attempts to innovate the PC form factor including the dual-screen Yoga Book C930. A Wacom stylus is also included for handwriting, drawing, and annotating. Actually, not bad! The crease is more visible in photos and videos, but in person, when the device is completely unfolded, it's nearly impossible to see. Lenovo hasn't officially announced full specifications of its foldable PC yet. Well, there's not much I can do for you on that first one, but as for the latter wish: Lenovo just built it. The Verge reported that the tech giant is working on a new foldable PC meant to change the way personal computing is done.

However, unlike the Courier, the device comes at a time when the technology is prime for use and the use cases continue to evolve parallel to its presence, oh, and it should also be able to handle email. Or honestly, don't. You'll learn very little and you won't ever get those 30 seconds back.
