Apple Debuts Apple One Subscription Bundles, Its Twist on Prime

There's a Family plan that allows access to the same services but with 200GB of cloud storage, and it can be shared with up to six family members.

A family membership costs $19.95 per month. A Premier tier costs $29.95, adding Apple News+, Apple Fitness+ and 2TB of iCloud storage.

The Premier plan will be available in Australia, Canada, the United Kingdom, and the USA only.

As expected, Apple today announced the bundling of its existing services into Apple One, which will be available in three tiers. This also supports up to six family members. It will give users a single invoice every month and can be canceled at any time.

The service will launch this fall.

If that is the case, Indians might get a new plan that includes Apple Fitness+ going forward.

The initiative is a major bid by Apple to achieve the same loyalty that Amazon.com Inc. has won with its Prime program, which combines free shipping with video streaming and many other services for an annual or monthly fee. Well, if it folds TV+ into the ultimate "media bundle" with Apple Music and News+ that resulted from the purchase of the magazine subscription aggregator Texture in 2018.

In the United States, the prices are henceforth: Apple One Individual ($14.95 per month), Apple One Family ($19.95 per month), and Apple One Premier ($29.95 per month).

Apple has no large e-commerce delivery and warehouse network like Amazon's, however it has hundreds of millions of ardent hardware customers who have already embraced some of its digital subscriptions.

The Premier Apple One plan saves you $25 than a family Apple Music plan, TV+, News+, Arcade and top iCloud subscriptions. What are the prices of Apple's main subscription services?

"With Apple One, you can access the best of Apple entertainment across all your favorite devices with one simple subscription", Eddy Cue, Apple SVP of internet software and services, said in announcing the bundles.
