Amazon Echo Show is $30 off right now

Users can train their voice in the Alexa app by going through the app's settings, then the Account heading, and then going into your voice.

According to Amazon, the voice recognition feature will be available across the entire lineup of Echo devices, and the third-party Alexa devices as well. With the introduction of this feature, Amazon is playing catch-up with the competition as Google announced the roll-out of this feature for its Home devices, back in April.

Amazon's range of Echo devices can now recognise people based on their voices, enabling Alexa to personalise people's experiences through their own voice profiles.

Amazon has dropped the price of its Amazon Echo Show smart speaker by $30, but the deal is only good for a limited time. From this day, Amazon's AI assistant will be able to differentiate between multiple voices and provide personally tailored responses. So if you instruct it to call John, it will call your friend, not your roommates. It will work with shopping, Amazon Music, Flash Briefings, and Alexa-to-Alexa calling. The company also says that touch-to-talk device like Fire TV remote and the Amazon Tap does not support voice profiles. Alexa will recognize their voice without you having to manually switch between profiles, or tell Alexa who you are. Moreover, when it comes to news, Alexa will only read those that you haven't heard before. Then access Account Heading and finally, Your Voice. How many of you use a smart speaker?

Voice Profiles will hopefully make its way to other Alexa-enabled devices but is now limited to Echo devices only for the time being. After the training, the voice assistant will instantly recognize them on any device.
